〝 give 〞加上 up、out、in、down 知道分別是什麼意思嗎?

give up               放棄；讓出

例句：She give up her toy to an orphan.

           她把她的玩具讓給一個孤兒。

give out             分發

例句：The clerk gave out the flyer.

           銷售員在發傳單。

give in        屈服；讓步

例句：The government cannot be seen as giving in to terrorists' deman.

           政府是不會讓步答應恐怖分子的要求。

give down        使牛奶流出來 / 流動

例句：His cows didn't recognize him clean shaven and wouldn't give down their milk.

          他的奶牛不認得他鬍子刮得乾乾淨淨的樣子，並且不會讓牛奶流出來。
