(也可說 You're a dumb person.)

(bad joke（爛笑話）、dumb joke（蠢笑話）或lame joke（聽了很無力的笑話）)

(chitchat、或是chew the fat也有類似的意思)

He sponges off women.  他吃軟飯 

(sponge 當名詞是「海綿」，當動詞與off連用就是「過寄生生活；當食客」)

He is a penny pincher  他是鐵公雞 

a stingy person（小氣鬼）或a miser（吝嗇鬼）也可以

I'm busted  我被抓包了

bust當動詞用為「逮捕」，busted 是形容詞為俚語「失敗的」之意。

除了 be busted，也可以說 be caught

You're full of yourself!  你少臭美了

或self-righteous（自以為是的）opinionated（堅持己見）或dogmatic（固執的）

He's not my cup of tea.  他不是我的菜

常見的用法還有 You're not my type.

That's a rip-off!  搶錢啊？

rip-off是名詞，意為剝削；冒牌貨」
其他說法是：I got ripped-off.或者 I got stiffed.（我被敲竹槓了）

You're so perverted!  你很變態耶！

簡單的方式：You're so sick!（你很變態耶！）

Don't patronize me!  少來這一套！

或Don't think I don't know what's going on.(別以為我不知道你在搞什麼鬼)

He's a sweet talker!  他很會甜言蜜語！

除此之外還可以說：He's a smooth operator.

I've had it!  我受夠了！

意思與 I've had enough.一樣。除此之外也可說：It's enough!、It's too much!

Don't be a copycat!  別這麼愛學人！

或 Don't be a follower!(別當個跟隨者)或勸他:Think for yourself!(做你自己)

Don't be paranoid!  別神經了！

paranoid是指「偏執狂的」或neurotic「神經質的」

如果一個人對每件事都抱持著懷疑的態度，也可對他說：Don't be suspicious of everything.（別疑神疑鬼啦）。
